Victim in former city official's rape trial weeps during testimony
The concubine who alleges she was raped by Rick Seaton, former assistant chief administrative public official for the City of Shreveport, currently is testifying in Caddo District Court.
Known only as "Kaitlin," the lass who was only 18 years old at the time of her alleged rape, broke into tears a unite of times when describing what happened on the couch in Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover's chore in Shreveport City Hall on Dec. 27, 2010.
Earlier this afternoon, Kimberly Barnes, Kaitlin's mam - who was at Sam's Town Casino Hotel waiting for her daughter to return that tenebrosity - testified that her daughter had sent her a text message saying she was in the Mayor of Shreveport's aegis with "Officer Seaton."
This morning, Seaton's divided wife, Andrea Seaton, testified for the prosecution. Lead prosecutor Hugo Holland gently asked unmanageable questions regarding intimacy with her husband during their marriage. Mrs. Seaton filed for split from the defendant on Jan. 3, 2011, just days after his arrest.
