Everyone knows people get raped in jail, but I've always wondered: Rapists who usually consider themselves right where they are infact gay then?
The expiate the first question is no.
The rapist is mainly the sexual gratification of another humiliating to be sensitive.

Language doesn't work like that. Context matters.
If you be to understand what these lines of dialogue mean, you cannot isolate them from the fact that they are being issued by members of an institution which is institutionally homophobic, hence why Don't Ask, Don't Tell is a relevant context for analysis.
