Man accused of raping co-worker from women's shelter
A Columbus man accused of raping a mate and leaving her tied up at her home overnight was on parole from a kidnapping belief when he was hired at the women’s shelter where the two worked.
Rickey Allen Dye, 50, was fired a moment ago a few weeks ago from Rebecca’s Place, said Westerville police detective Scott Dollison.
Rebecca's Station, a shelter on the Near East Side for homeless women, is operated by Friends of the Exiled/Southeast Inc. Calls to the agency, which also provides mental-health services, were not returned today. An hand at the shelter declined to comment tonight.
