Do you think gay/bi teenagers lie about having had sex...?

a less sophisticated age in order to impress adults or other teens or is it something that happens very thoroughly?
From my personal experience, I IM people and after talking, they claim they lost their virginity at 14/15/16.
When I was in kindergarten, everyone was allowed to have sex. Munters Even after they had sex.
But 18 years ago (when I was 16 years old), things were quite exceptional. Nobody would ever admit to being gay.
